Megyn Kelly is officially leaving Fox News for NBC. She announced her goodbye on her show on Tuesday night. Many people found her goodbye speech inconsistent and confusing.
“The truth is I need more of that in my life, in particular when it comes to my children who are seven, five and three. So I’ll be leaving Fox News at the week’s end and starting a new adventure, joining the journalists at NBC News who I deeply admire,” said Megyn Kelly.
“I’ll be anchoring a daytime show there, along with a Sunday night news magazine. And you’ll see me there on the big nights, too, for politics and such,” she said. This comment confused many people since she said that she needed more time with her kids, and at the same time she will be having more air time.
Now the talk of the town is who will replace Megyn Kelly. New York Magazines Gabriel Sherman reported that Fox Insiders are looking for a Pro-Trump conservative woman to replace Kelly. Greta Van Susteren gave her opinion.
“OK..I will weigh in…I think @kimguilfoyle would be a good choice for the Fox 9pm – she is smart and fun…viewers love her,” said Susteren. She continued. “It would be a big plus to Fox evening line up – they need someone like @kimguilfoyle – viewers and colleagues love her.” Some of Susteren’s fans said they wished that Susteren herself would replace Kelly. “I want a new adventure….14 1/2 years in one place was enough – I had good times but want new adventure,” responded Susteren. Would you be happu if Kim Guilfoyle replaced Megyn Kelly?
